I have a 43 inch hip and a size US 12 fit well. The mesh is soft and flexes nicely to my shape, and the opening sits at the appropriate place without much hassle or readjustment. I don't feel constricted in this size while moving around and the opening feels soft like the rest of the brief, just in a different fabric, most likely for added durability (which I appreciate). They are breathable as one would expect and the seams are flat enough to stay put and not dig into my skin.
Hopefully my size comes back in stock as I would like to purchase more!
