These bottoms are SO cute! The little button-ouvert styling on the back is just adorable, and the mermaid-fin ruffles on the side are a nice accent, especially when paired with the matching bra. That said, depending on your proportions, these are unlikely to be 'high-waisted' on you. For me, with long legs, short torso, and high and short waist, these are nowhere near high-waisted, more mid-rise at best (they don't quite come to my belly button.) I was hoping for a longer fit, but the rest of the styling is so cute that I'm alright with keeping them despite this. I would say the sizing is otherwise true to size, I didn't feel squeezed in or too tight at the legs or anything!
